Saddle Panel Height
For horses with higher withers and a more dipped topline, increased rear panel height helps achieve proper balance and support. Kentaur wool-flocked panels can be customized with additional height of +1 cm, +2 cm, or +3 cm. This allows for more precise adjustment to maintain even contact and correct saddle positioning.

Wool Flocked Panel
Kentaur panels are filled with high-quality synthetic wool that molds to the horse’s back, maintaining softness and flexibility over time. This allows for precise, individual adjustment while providing excellent shock absorption and consistent contact.
Multiple internal layers enhance performance and structure:
3 mm LP foam reduces leather tension
10 mm PU foam adds responsive softness
5 mm felt increases panel stability
Together, these layers create a smooth, even surface for optimal fit and balance.

Wool Core Panel (French)
The central portion of the panel is filled with synthetic wool, wrapped in felt, and finished with a leather outer layer. This construction provides a soft, adaptable feel while maintaining consistent panel height over time. Its seamless, edge-free design allows for precise shaping to the horse’s back, supporting a balanced and customized fit.
This panel is wrapped in calf leather, matching the leather selected for the saddle to ensure a consistent look and premium finish.
Latex Panel
The Kentaur Latex Panel is constructed with PU foam, offering a consistent shape and long-lasting durability. Its stable structure provides excellent close contact between horse and rider, enhancing feel and connection in the saddle.
Because the panel does not change shape over time, it maintains uniform performance. However, it is not adjustable and cannot be reshaped to accommodate changes in the horse’s back, making correct initial fit essential.
